Annetta is what people picture when they say they want land but not a long drive. It's quiet, tree-lined, and entirely rural by Census definition, with long driveways and homes set well back from the road. It sits just south of I-20 between Aledo and Weatherford. Fort Worth is close enough for dinner, and far enough that you hear owls at night.
There are actually three towns: Annetta, Annetta North, and Annetta South. Each is incorporated separately, and all are served by Aledo ISD. Buyers tend to treat them as one area, and so do we.

Annetta has no golf course, no amenity center, and no busy town square, and that's the point. The draw is space: room for a shop, a pool and outdoor kitchen, horses, or simply no neighbors in view.
Annetta Elementary is one of Aledo ISD's seven elementary campuses. Students continue to Aledo's middle schools, the ninth-grade campus, and Aledo High School.
